Counselling
We all have the potential to lead a contented life.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, talk openly, and feel heard without judgement or expectation.
Together, we’ll explore what feels difficult, build understanding and self-compassion, and support your emotional wellbeing in a way that feels safe and manageable.
I’m dedicated to helping you overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, and other emotional struggles. Then you can move toward what truly matters and create lasting change.
What can come from counselling
Deeper understanding of yourself
Sense of patterns in your life
Relief from past experiences
Changes in how you relate to yourself and others
Alternative ways to manage stress or anxiety
Greater self-compassion
Feel more comfortable setting boundaries
Clarity
What to expect
While every counselling relationship is different, it always starts with you having the space to talk about whatever’s on your mind.
Counselling is a collaborative process. Over time, we’ll explore your experiences and uncover the patterns and feelings that are holding you back.
You will begin to find new ways of understanding yourself. I will help you to reflect and support you in making sense of your life, at a pace that feels right for you.
Through gentle exploration, deeper insights emerge, leading to greater self-awareness, clarity, and emotional balance.
How I work
At the heart of our work is the relationship we build together: a space where you can feel safe, heard and accepted.
I draw on an integrative framework, which means I use techniques from different approaches like person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy to support you in the way that is most helpful for your needs.
From that foundation, we will work towards a more meaningful life experience for you.
Qualifications and Experience
Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice

Experienced client practitioner with:

Curo
Choose Therapy.
I have studied both integrative and pluralistic counselling:
Integrative Counselling:
Adapting the theoretical basis of how to work with clients according to their presentation. This process allows for flexibility in finding the most suitable approach in service of a client’s needs.
Pluralistic Practice:
Incorporates integrative ideas and takes them one step further. It proposes that many different methods can be helpful to clients. A central idea in pluralism is: if we want to know what is most likely to help someone, we should talk to them about it. This collaborative approach allows for clients to become actively involved in the decision making process about how therapy works for them.
